  • County Receives $5.75 Million in Federal Funding for Road Improvements
    (Woodbury, NJ) – Gloucester County is the recipient of $5.75 million in federal funding for several road improvement projects that could begin in 2015 announced Freeholder Director Robert M. Damminger and Freeholder Heather Simmons today.
  • County Presents Keys to New Passenger Busses to Monroe & Woodbury Tomorrow
    News Image(West Deptford, NJ) – Gloucester County Freeholder Director Robert M. Damminger, Freeholder Adam Taliaferro and Freeholder Lyman Barnes presented the keys to new 22-passenger busses today to officials from Woodbury and Monroe Township.
  • Alex’s Lemonade Stand featured at Children’s Benefit Horse Show this Weekend
    Over the course of the past 24 years, the Children's Benefit Horse Show has been dedicated to making a difference for children, annually choosing a different charity to contribute to.   This year the show will be held at the Gloucester County DREAM Park and  runs from Friday, April 4 through Sunday, April 6.
  • April 2nd is National Walking Day – Visit Your Local Park
    (Sewell, NJ) – The Gloucester County Department of Health, Senior & Disability Services encourages residents to become active to improve their health. According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, this year's National Walking Day, sponsored by the American Heart Association is Wednesday, April 2.

  • Committee on Missing and Abused Children Awarded Grant
    (Woodbury, NJ) – Gloucester County’s Committee on Missing and Abused (COMA) Children was awarded a $4,000 grant from the Prevent Child Abuse – New Jersey (PCA-NJ). Freeholder Director Robert Damminger and Freeholder Liaison Adam J. Taliaferro said that Gloucester County was the only southern county to be awarded a grant.
  • Schools United for Respect and Equality Student Summit this Thursday
    (Glassboro, NJ) – The Annual S.U.R.E. (Schools United for Respect and Equality) Student Summit will be held this Thursday, March 20 in the Rowan University Student Center.  This year’s Summit theme is “Human Rights Turned Outside-In: This Time it’s Personal”.
