  • County Constructing Low-Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic
    News Image(Clayton, NJ) – Freeholder Director Robert Damminger and Freeholder Dan Christy announced today that Gloucester County is in the process of constructing a low-cost spay/neuter clinic to help reduce stray and unwanted animals and offer residents a more convenient and cost effective alternative for the services.

  • County Receives $14,975 for Recreation Programs for Disabled
    (Woodbury, NJ) – Freeholder Director Robert M. Damminger and Freeholder Adam J. Taliaferro announced today that Gloucester County Disability Services has received a $14,975 grant for recreational programs for the disabled from the NJ Department of Community Affairs.

  • County Kicks off ‘Shop, Dine, Go Local’ Campaign
    News Image(Swedesboro, NJ) – Gloucester County Freeholders, Chamber of Commerce members and a local business owner today joined at Sweetesboro Pastry Shoppe on Kings Highway to announce the county's 2014 Shop, Dine, Go Local campaign that is designed to encourage residents to spend their money at local small businesses in the days leading up to the holiday shopping season. 

  • GCEMS Trained in Administering Narcan for Opiate Overdoses
    (Woodbury, NJ) – The 186 member team of Gloucester County's Emergency Medical Service (GCEMS) is fully trained in the administration of Naloxone (Narcan) intranasally to suspected opiate overdoses. 

    (Clayton) – Three free courses will be offered to First Responders in Gloucester County to help them sharpen their skills and get continuing education credits.

  • Gloucester County Presents 14th Annual Women’s Health Summit
    (Woodbury, NJ) – Gloucester County Freeholder Director Robert Damminger and Freeholder Adam J. Taliaferro announced today that the Gloucester County Department of Health Senior & Disability Services is sponsoring the 14th Annual Women's Health Summit.  The free event will be held on Saturday, Sep. 20 from 8 a.m. to 12 noon at the Gloucester County Institute of Technology located at 1300 Tanyard Road in Sewell.
